Four Days on Milos.

Driving Around Milos.

We spent 3 or 4 days on Milos. I am not 100% sure. Nevertheless it was amazing! Milos is just another one of the thousands of amazing islands scattered in the Aegean Sea. We took the ferry from Santorini and had booked a camping space at Milos Camping. It was a really nice area but kind of hard to get around unless you have a car or motorbike. So we decided to take the bus in and rent a car. This is almost a must have if you want to have the freedom to really experience the island. There is such a huge amount of amazing places and so much distance between them and if you are going to wait for busses you are going to lose most of your day. All the rental car companies had about the same price and we just went with the company we got the best feeling from but it was one of the smaller local ones directly opposite the central bus station.

Our first stop was obviously Sarakiniko Beach also known as the white beach. It is on the north shore and probably the main tourist attraction on the island although we went at sunrise and there was not a single person there for an hour or so. I would recommend this! We actually went a few times.

After that was Kilma village, another beautiful place that you’re not really sure if the whole image was premeditated of if it actually just fell together like that.

After that we just drove around the island and explored. Being volcanic there are a lot of amazing view points, hills, mountains and weird coastal formations. This is some of the random stuff we saw.
